Gin BASIL Smash Green Cocktail

GRANNY‘S BASIL SMASH


Freshen up your day with the crisp taste of green apple and the aromatic touch of basil!


The Gin Basil Smash is popular among gin enthusiasts. It is easy to mix and requires only four ingredients.


An apple a day keeps the doctor away.


Recipe:

60ml-2oz CITRUSY GIN

30ml-1oz FRESH or CLOUDY APPLE JUICE

30ml-1oz LEMON JUICE freshly squeezed

15ml-0.5oz AGAVE SYRUP

15 BASIL LEAVES

1 dash ABSINTHE


Shake all ingredients with a fresh and big ice cube. Hard! You don’t need to muddle the basil leaves. Fine strain into chilled Nick and Nora glass. Atomize absinthe over your drink. Garnish with an apple fan.

Recipe:

60ml-2oz BOURBON WHISKEY

15ml-0.5oz CABERNET SAUVIGNON

15ml-0.5oz LEMON JUICE

30ml-1oz GRAPE SYRUP

3 dashes ORANGE BITTERS

1 EGG WHITE

5 GRAPES


Muddle the grapes and shake all ingredients with a big single fresh ice cube. No dry shake needed. Double strain into a ice filled glass.

45ml-1.5oz GIN (citrus forward)

15ml-0.5oz ITALIAN RED BITTER

30ml-1oz BLOOD ORANGE JUICE

15ml-0.5oz LEMON JUICE

7,5ml-0.25oz CRÈME DE PAMPLEMOUSSE

1 EGG WHITE or other FOAMER


Shake all ingredients with ice. If used egg white shake dry first. Strain back to shaker and shake wet. Strain into chilled Nick & Nora glass.

LIQUID LEMON DRIZZLE CAKE


A squeeze of lemon, a slice of cake, a splash of butter flavors, all in one delicious cocktail.


Recipe 

45ml-1.5oz POPCORN GIN

15ml-0.5oz LIMONCELLO

15ml-0.5oz LEMON JUICE

2 bsp. CANE SUGAR

2 bsp. BUTTER

1 EGG WHITE or other FOAMER


Wash a lemon and cut it in half. Place a piece of butter on each half. Sprinkle a teaspoon of raw sugar over the butter. Caramelize with a kitchen torch. Then squeeze the lemons by hand and pour into the shaker.


Add all remaining ingredients and shake with a single large fresh ice cube. Yes REVERSE shake! Strain back into shaker and shake without ice. Fine strain into chilled Nick & Nora glass.

Summer sizzles with ruby grapefruit cocktails? With a hint of bbq feeling? If you don’t like the smoky aroma of mezcal, then simply take double the amount of tequila.


Recipe:

30ml-1oz TEQUILA

30ml-1oz MEZCAL

15ml-1/2oz TRIPLE SEC

30ml-1oz RUBY GRAPEFRUIT JUICE

30ml-1oz LIME JUICE

15ml-1/2oz FALERNUM SYRUP

5 dashes PEYCHAUD‘s BITTERS


Squeeze your citrus always fresh. Was this tip even necessary to mention? Probably not.


Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into ice filled and salt rimmed glass.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of blue curacao. Dry vermouth makes many drinks better. Grapefruit too. Enjoy this Disney based drink and have fun at the next movie night.


Recipe:

45ml-1.5oz POPCORN GIN

15ml-0.5oz BLUE CURACAO

15ml-0.5oz DRY VERMOUTH

60ml-2oz GRAPEFRUIT JUICE

15ml-0.5oz ORGEAT

15ml-0.5oz LIME JUICE

splash of CLUB SODA

2 dashes ABSINTHE

Rinse your highball glass with absinthe. Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into ice filled highball glass and top with club soda. Stir before you drink.

Everyone can be a star in his own world. You don’t need Champagne. Dry vermouth is still a good choice for martinis.


Recipe:

60ml-2oz POPCORN GIN

30ml-1oz DRY VERMOUTH

15ml-0.5oz LEMON JUICE

15ml-VANILLA SYRUP

7,5ml-0.25oz PASSION FRUIT SYRUP

1 fresh PASSION FRUIT

1 EGG WHITE or other FOAMER


Mix all ingredients with a big ice cube and fine strain into chilled NICK & Nora glass. If used egg white try reverse shake. First wet then dry shake. Trust me!

Vanilla Pear Old Fashioned


It‘s winter and I need a sweet, spiced, heavy and richly favored Old Fashioned. Maybe you too?


Recipe:

60ml-2oz BOURBON

7,5ml-0.25oz VANILLA SYRUP

7,5ml-0.25oz ORANGE BLOSSOM WATER

3 dashes ORANGE BITTERS

1/2 PEAR

1 Bsp. SUGAR


Caramelize the sugared pear and muddle it. Stir all ingredients without ice. Fine strain back. Stir with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.

Caramelized Passion Fruit Mezcalita


Who likes this smoky spirit called Mezcal? 

First I wanted to create a margarita. The smoke flavors inspired me to use mezcal instead of tequila. If you don‘t like smoke flavors you can choose tequila. 


Recipe:

45ml-1.5oz MEZCAL

15ml-0.5oz ORANGE CURACAO

15ml-0.5oz LIME JUICE

15ml-0.5oz AGAVE SYRUP

1/2 PASSION FRUIT


FOAM:

30ml-1oz AQUAFABA or EGG WHITE

30ml-1oz LEMON JUICE

15ml-0.5oz BUTTERFLY PEA TEA

2 pinches of SALT

GODFATHER‘s CHRISTMAS


A mix of all different flavors of whiskey and whisky combined with the sweetness of almonds. Topped with Christmas Market feeling. SPECULOOS are popular spiced cookies in western Europe. Speculoos with cream feels just like Christmas sip by sip.


Recipe:

30ml-1oz BOURBON WHISKEY

30ml-1oz SCOTCH WHISKY

30ml-1oz RYE WHISKEY

30ml-1oz AMARETTO


Cream:

3 parts HEAVY CREAM

1 part SPECULOOS SYRUP

1 pinch of CINNAMON


Pour all spirits into ice filled glass, stir and float with lightly whipped speculoos cream.

Kiwi Berry Margarita


Have you ever seen these litte Baby Kiwis?


Recipe:

60ml-2oz TEQUILA @perola_finespirits

30ml-1oz Triple Sec

30ml-1oz LIME JUICE

15ml-1/2oz AGAVE

5 KIWI BERRIES


Muddle the tiny Kiwi Berries and shake all ingredients with ice.


Strain in a crushed ice filled glass.

The best thing about winter is tangerine. I love its sweet, citrusy and slightly sour flavor. Instead of triple sec tangerine liqueur gives every cocktail a special note.


Recipe:

45ml-1.5oz BARREL AGED TANGERINE GIN

15ml-0.5oz TANGERINE LIQUEUR

15ml-0.5oz ITALIAN RED BITTER

30ml-1oz LIME JUICE

15ml-0.5oz FALERNUM SYRUP


Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into crushed ice-filled glass.


Garnish with MINT and LIME.
